TEACHER LUNCHEON POST FOR PARENTS! Parents and community- it's that time of year again. For several years I have catered lunches for the Junior High and High School teachers once a month. It's a great way to show our teachers how much we love and appreciate them. I have found it is easier to cater the meals than to have people sign up and bring stuff. I've calculated out how much it is to feed each teacher for the months we do it (Sept- Nov and Jan-April). The tiny bit leftover goes toward a treat for teacher appreciation (not enough to cover but helps). This year I'd like to do amp it up a little. I'd like to ask for an additional $20 per teacher so we already have money ready to go for teacher appreciation. Last year we had some very generous businesses help with teacher appreciation but they were pretty tapped out by that time of year. So- I'm asking for $65 per teacher. We have a total of 55 teachers at both schools. If you would like to sponsor a teacher (or two) you can Venmo me @cskinner03. I keep very meticulous records. If you have any questions on where you money is going, I am happy to share that with you. I'd like to have this wrapped up by next Thursday, the 10th. We live in a pretty awesome community! Thanks in advance for being so willing to help our teachers to know how much we support and appreciate them! You can message me if you have any questions! It's great to be a Roughrider! PJHS - Last Thursday 8th grade students were given information on high school registration. They should've brought home a form for guardians to sign. If you have not seen the form, please ask your student for this, or if your student was absent or lost their form, you may pick a new one up at the office. This form needs to be completed and returned asap. They will not be able to register without having it signed, and registration is scheduled for the end of the week in each student's science class. If you have any questions, please reach out to (928)387-8113.
