Administration

Hello! My name is Diana Logan and I am in my second year as the principal at Pima Elementary School. I have been a Roughrider for 9 years and have lived in Pima for the last 13 years. Over the last 23 years, a few of my teaching experiences have included kindergarten, third grade, junior high, adult school, juvenile probation, and special education. I have 4 children of my own. We love traveling, camping, swimming, and playing games together. I also enjoy crafting, reading , and cooking.

I love serving our community, where It’s Great to be a Roughrider!

A Note From the Nurse

Please remember to keep your child home from school if they develop any of these signs of illness:

  • Coughing, with other signs of illness

  • Fever or chills

  • Sore throat or trouble swallowing

  • Muscle aches with headache

  • Vomiting

  • Diarrhea

  • Breathing trouble

  • Unusual spots or rashes

A child should be fever-free for 24 hours (without fever reducing medicine) before returning to school. Keeping a sick child home helps prevent the spread of disease at school. Please help keep our school healthy.

If your child must use medication while at school, the parent/guardian must check in with the school nurse and complete the proper paperwork. All medications need to be in the original container. If it is a doctor prescribed medication, the prescription label must be present.

If you have a student who has been prescribed an inhaler for asthma purposes or epi-pen for allergies, the school nurse must have written documentation from the parent/guardian giving permission for the student to carry these types of medications with them. These are the only medications students are allowed to carry.

Volunteering

We have had great volunteers this last school year and appreciate all they do for our school and students, from helping in the classroom to teaching P.E. If you are interested in helping in any way, contact your student's teacher to set up a designated time to come volunteer.

PTO

Pima Elementary School is blessed to have great parents who care about their children’s teachers, staff, and school. We appreciate all the support we receive.
